Boston College shoots down No. 1 Duke; first loss for the Blue Devils

Boston College used red-hot shooting, particularly in the first half, to knock off No. 1 Duke 89-84 on Saturday in Chestnut Hill, Mass.

It was the first loss of the season for Duke (11-1, 0-1) in its ACC opener.

The Eagles (7-3, 1-0), who got huge performances from Ky Bowman, Jordan Chatman and Jerome Robinson, led 48-41 at halftime and by as many as 10 in the game, and they held on despite second-half foul trouble. |USA Today|
